Saudi Pipeline Technology Contract Awarded to Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes has secured a contract to provide gas technology equipment for the third phase of Saudi Arabia’s Master Gas System project, as announced in an April 23 press release. The company will be supplying 17 pipeline centrifugal compressors for this phase, with the contract awarded by Worley on behalf of Aramco. This follows Baker Hughes’ successful delivery of 18 centrifugal compressors for the first two phases of the project.

As part of its continued commitment to expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia, Baker Hughes is also investing in upgrading its manufacturing site in Modon. The upgraded facility will utilize localized testing and packaging solutions to better serve projects in the country and enhance overall support for clients in the region.

Earlier this year, Baker Hughes achieved a significant milestone with the delivery of the first two trains of advanced hydrogen compression solutions for the NEOM green hydrogen project in Saudi Arabia. The NEOM project is described as the largest of its kind globally, further solidifying Baker Hughes’ position as a leading provider of innovative gas technology solutions for projects in the region.
