As the region prepares for the pre-summer tourist influx set to begin next month, many businesses have taken steps to improve their offerings. Examples include O’Reilly Auto Parts opening a store in Wakefield, Celeste completing renovations in Narragansett, and the opening of Tower Hill Brewing Co. in Wakefield.

Tower Hill Brewing Co. offers craft beers made on site in their taproom and allows patrons to bring their own food as they do not have a kitchen on site. The South County Tourism Council is promoting spring specials at various businesses and restaurants on their website, www.southcountyri.com.
