The Bills have added another player to their team, signing wide receiver Quintez Cephus to a one-year contract. Prior to joining the Bills, Cephus played for the Detroit Lions from 2020-2022. During his time with the Lions, he appeared in 22 games and started in six. Cephus recorded an impressive 37 receptions, 568 receiving yards, and four touchdowns during his tenure with the team.
Cephus, who stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 202 pounds, was selected by the Lions in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft after playing college football at Wisconsin. Originally from Macon, Georgia, he brings a diverse skill set to the Bills’ receiving corps. However, Cephus was among the players suspended by the NFL last year for violating the league’s gambling policy as they were found to have placed bets during the 2022 season.
The addition of Cephus provides depth and experience at the wide receiver position for the Bills as they continue to shape their roster and prepare for the upcoming season. Fans will undoubtedly be eager to see how he contributes to the team’s offense as they aim for success in 2023.
