The Kentucky Science Center is considering opening a new location in Bowling Green, Kentucky and the community seems to be interested in this idea. In order to assess the needs of the community, the center posted a survey on their website and Facebook page for locals to participate in. The survey received an overwhelming response with 26,000 responses, far surpassing the expected 50.
Telia Butler, the downtown development coordinator of Bowling Green, stated that both the city and the Kentucky Science Center reached out to locals for their opinions on a potential location. She explained that they conducted a site visit with the board on Tuesday to further explore the possibility of bringing science education and interactive exhibits to Bowling Green.
