HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra underscored the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to combatting monopolistic and anti-competitive behaviors that impede the delivery of healthcare to Americans. Public input through the portal will play a critical role in identifying and addressing these harmful practices, helping to create a more competitive and transparent healthcare market.
FTC Chair Lina Khan emphasized the importance of the portal as a way for the agencies to hear directly from the public, enabling them to address illegal business practices that harm consumers and workers. By providing a channel for reporting, HealthyCompetition.gov aims to strengthen the agencies’ efforts in upholding fair competition in the health care industry.
