Ukraine Downs Russian Strategic Bomber in War’s First Incident of its Kind

A Russian bomber crashed due to a technical fault, according to the Ministry of Defense. The incident occurred in the Stavropol region, where all but one crew member managed to eject from the plane. One person was killed and two were taken to the hospital. The search for the fourth crew member is ongoing. Meanwhile, in another part of Russia, 22 missiles and 14 unmanned aerial vehicles were launched during an attack. Most of them were shot down by the Ukrainian Air Force, but at least nine people, including three children, were killed in missile strikes in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Some of the strikes hit near the Dnipro railway station, injuring workers.
