Hubert Kos, a standout performer at the 2024 NCAA Championships, has decided to transfer from Arizona State to the University of Texas following the departure of head coach Bob Bowman. As a sophomore at Arizona State, Kos scored 48 individual points and placed 2nd in the 200 back, 3rd in the 200 IM, and 4th in the 100 back. He also helped his team secure an NCAA title in the 400 medley relay and a 2nd place finish in the 800 free relay.
One of Kos’s notable achievements was breaking Ryan Murphy’s 200 backstroke NCAA record at the 2024 Pac-12 Championships with a time of 1:35.69. His success led to a shift in his NCAA lineup from his freshman year, where he competed in the
