Science Square, a 18-acre mixed-use development located near Georgia Tech’s campus in Atlanta, has recently completed its first phase. This phase includes the construction of Science Square Labs, a cutting-edge life science building, and The Grace Residences, a 280-unit multifamily tower that began welcoming residents in April.
Science Square Labs, which spans 368,258 square feet, is designed to house state-of-the-art labs and clean-room space. Its construction marks an important step in creating a hub for scientific innovation in the area. The facility will help foster collaboration and advancement in the field of life sciences.
The Grace Residences offers a mix of market-rate and affordable housing options and features various amenities such as a club room, an outdoor courtyard with fire pits, grilling areas, and a pool and fitness center. The development aims to provide modern and convenient living experience for those looking to be close to Georgia Tech and the surrounding area.
With this successful completion, Science Square has taken an important step towards becoming a vibrant and dynamic community for both science and residential living. Trammell Crow Company (TCC) and Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures (GATV) have worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life and are proud of what they have accomplished so far.
