Brookline Residents Can Shape Future Programs through Human Services Resident Survey Launch

The Brookline Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is launching a Human Services Resident Survey to gather insights into residents’ experiences with accessing services. The survey aims to identify existing barriers to accessing various human services and is available in Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and English. Residents are encouraged to take the 10-minute survey to help improve accessibility and effectiveness in Brookline’s services.

This survey is part of the third phase of the Human Services Assessment and Gap Analysis initiated by the Department in October 2023 in collaboration with consultants Kulik Strategic Advisors (KSA). Along with the Resident Survey, KSA will conduct focus groups among select populations to better understand the data behind residents’ experiences. The initial phases involved developing a resource inventory of human services and collecting provider surveys and conducting key informant interviews.

“We are excited about this launch because we believe that residents’ voices are essential in shaping future programs,” said Sigalle Reiss, Director of Brookline DPHHS. “By participating in this survey, residents can help us understand their experiences with accessing services and identify areas for improvement.”

Participating residents will receive a $10 gift card for their time. For questions about the survey, residents can contact Marcos Alcorn at malcorn@kulikstrategic.com.
