Two Bandits players receive nominations for NLL Most Valuable Player Award

The Buffalo Bandits have received several nominations for the National Lacrosse League’s top honors in the 2023-24 regular season. Josh Byrne and Dhane Smith have been nominated for Most Valuable Player, alongside Toronto Rock goalie Nick Rose. Additionally, both Byrne and Smith are also up for Offensive Player of the Year, while Ian MacKay is running for Transition Player of the Year.

The award winners will be announced before the start of the 2024 NLL Finals, where the Bandits will face off against the Albany FireWolves in their quest to win back-to-back league championships. The first game of the finals will take place on May 17 in Albany.
