Cambridge Community Comes Together to Fight Back Against Burglaries: The Story of Robert Rust’s Arrest and Sentencing

On March 12th, Robert Rust, a 36-year-old man from Stirling Road in Northstowe, Cambridge was arrested for burgling eight businesses. The incidents occurred over the course of several days, with Rust targeting businesses such as takeaways and stores. The police were notified of the break-ins and Rust was remanded in custody for sentencing at Cambridge Crown Court on May 6th.
