NFL Team the Dolphins sign Cam Brown from NBC Sports

On Wednesday, the Dolphins added another player to their defense and special teams by signing linebacker Cam Brown. The terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team. Brown was a 2020 sixth-round pick of the Giants and spent the last four years with the team. Despite only seeing 103 snaps on defense, he accumulated 1,328 snaps on special teams and served as one of the team’s captains. In his 60 regular season appearances with the Giants, Brown recorded 35 tackles, two forced fumbles, and three quarterback hits.

The Dolphins also signed former Bills special teamer Siran Neal as a free agent this offseason. Both Brown and Neal are expected to play prominent roles in the kicking game if they make it to the 53-man roster in Miami. This strengthens the Dolphins’ special teams unit and adds depth to their defense. The team is looking to improve in all areas of the game and the signings of Brown and Neal demonstrate their commitment to achieving success in the upcoming season.
