UTEP President serves as member of National Science Board

Heather Wilson, the president of UTEP, has been named as a member of the National Science Board (NSB), which is responsible for overseeing the National Science Foundation. This foundation recently instructed UTEP to pause work on its Aerospace Center due to concerns regarding its grant proposal.

When we attempted to contact Heather Wilson at UTEP for an interview about her dual roles, a spokesperson informed us that she was unavailable as she was traveling.
