Murder at Santa Ana business complex: Man fatally shoots girlfriend and her uncle, NBC Los Angeles reports

On Thursday in Santa Ana, two people were found dead in a business complex unit. The victims were identified as 25-year-old Jordan Block and 64-year-old Brian Martin. Authorities believe that Block, who called 911, was visiting her uncle Martin when her boyfriend arrived. In a tragic turn of events, the boyfriend ended up stabbing both Block and Martin, resulting in their deaths.

Despite the police arriving quickly after receiving the call, they discovered the victims already deceased. People who knew Martin described him as friendly and even taught women’s self-defense classes. His collection of ancient swords was well-known, with one found bloodied outside the garage in the aftermath of the incident. The suspect, Jordan’s boyfriend, was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was in critical condition as of Friday afternoon. The motive for the attack was still under investigation.
