Egypt introduces new customs facilities to streamline food imports

The Egyptian government is currently considering implementing new measures to control the prices of various food items in the market. As part of this initiative, a previous decision has been extended to exempt certain imported goods from customs taxes for a three-month period. This will cover goods such as medicines, frozen poultry, dairy products, butter, sugar, pastries, oils, and tea.
