Servotech Power and Electra EV Collaborate on Rapid DC Charging Technology

Electra EV, a company that specializes in electric vehicle powertrain solutions, has teamed up with Servotech Power Systems, a company that focuses on EV chargers and solar solutions. The partnership aims to jointly develop a new technology for fast DC charging of GB/T Bharat DC 001 vehicles that operate on sub 200V DC platforms. To achieve this goal, the companies have filed for patents on the technology they have developed.

The innovative solution will eliminate the need for expensive dual infrastructure deployment by ensuring seamless charging compatibility for vehicles operating under the GB/T Bharat DC 001 protocol. This collaboration is beneficial for both passenger services and commercial vehicles that rely on this standard. Arun Handa, CTO of Servotech Power Systems, highlighted the importance of this partnership, emphasizing its potential to bring together technological expertise and innovation.
