Emirati Talent: Manufacturers Conduct 10,000 Immediate Interviews

The “Manufacturers” exhibition for jobs in industry and advanced technology recently concluded in Abu Dhabi, drawing more than 4,200 young Emiratis from various emirates. Hosted by the Abu Dhabi Energy Center from April 21 to 23, the exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirates Competitiveness Council (NAFES), and the ADNOC Group.

The event provided over 800 job opportunities for Emiratis, including around 150 jobs for citizens of determination in various sectors. The exhibition is part of the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, falling under the “National Content Programme” umbrella. It supports the “Made in the Emirates” initiative and aligns with strategic objectives that promote competitiveness, growth, and diversification in the industrial sector.

Through partnerships with government agencies, private sector companies, training organizations, and job seekers, the exhibition served as a platform to provide immediate jobs and training programs that matched industry needs. Immediate interviews were conducted with over 83 companies during the event, resulting in direct employment opportunities for many Emirati talents in industrial and service sectors.

The event witnessed an increased turnout compared to its previous edition, highlighting a step forward in promoting Emiratisation in the private sector – particularly in value-added fields like industrial and advanced technology sectors. The exhibition’s positive results underscored a growing interest among young Emiratis seeking employment opportunities in these fields.

The first session of this exhibition offered immediate interviews leading to employment opportunities for young Emiratis. The exhibition saw over 4,200 attendees from various emirates who engaged directly with leading companies during their job interviews.

Over 10,000 immediate interviews were conducted at this second session with more than 83 participating companies. These interviews resulted in many young Emiritans obtaining direct employment opportunities across different sectors.

This unique initiative aimed to showcase skills and abilities of young Emiritans while enhancing their participation in industrial sectors.
