Lynchburg Pod Hosts NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship in 2024

On Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12, the University of Lynchburg men’s lacrosse team will host the second and third round games of the NCAA 2024 Division III men’s lacrosse championship on Shellenberger Field. The teams participating in the championship are the No. 13 Lynchburg Hornets with a record of 14-5 and the No. 16 Washington and Lee Generals with a record of 13-5.

The winners of the games between Pfeiffer and Centre, and Lake Forest and Transylvania will go on to play Lynchburg and Washington and Lee, respectively. The schedule for the second round on Saturday includes No. 13 Lynchburg vs Centre/Pfeiffer at 1 p.m., followed by No. 16 Washington and Lee vs Lake Forest/Transylvania at 4 p.m. The third round on Sunday will feature a matchup between the winners at 4 p.m.
