The iconic Northern California railroad town of Roseville is about to host a historic locomotive for a brief period. The world’s largest operating steam locomotive, Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014, will be on display in the town from July 12 to July 13 as part of its cross-country tour.

After being displayed at the RailGiants Museum in Pomona, California, the locomotive underwent a restoration and returned to service in 2019.
