On April 25th, William Elementary School in Jonesville hosted its annual Science and Math night. The event drew hundreds of students and their families who came together to enjoy pizza and participate in a range of STEM activities. These activities focused on science, technology, engineering, and math and were set up throughout the school with support from the community, teachers, and students from the National Honor Society.
One of the most popular stations at the event was the hands-on experiences offered by Camp Michindoh. Attendees got to interact with several different species of animals, which was a big hit among everyone in attendance. The Jonesville Middle and High School robotics teams also made a significant contribution to the night by showcasing their robots and coding skills.
The Science and Math night aims to bring families together in an educational environment outside of the regular classroom setting. It provides an opportunity for students to explore and learn in a fun and engaging way. Over the years, this annual event has been enjoyed by thousands of Jonesville students, sparking their creativity and imagination.
