Ford discovered that an undetected low battery charge could lead to a loss of electrical accessories like hazard lights or drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. In response, Ford is taking proactive measures to address the issue promptly and effectively. The company expressed its commitment to customer safety and satisfaction, stating that safety is a top priority.
Affected owners can visit a Ford dealership to have the problem fixed for free by recalibrating the body control module and power train control modules. Alternatively, customers can utilize Ford’s mobile service and pick-up and delivery options for a fix.
