Bud Dupree meets with Chargers, with Steelers and Falcons expressing interest

Bud Dupree, a free-agent edge rusher, may be close to joining a new team after completing a visit with the Chargers, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Falcons and Steelers have both shown interest in Dupree, who began his career as a first-round pick for the Steelers in 2015. After six seasons with the Steelers, he signed with the Titans and spent the 2021-2022 season with the AFC South club. In his last season with the Falcons, Dupree recorded 6.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, and eight QB hits, along with three passes defensed and two forced fumbles in 16 games. With his experience in the league and proven track record as a pass rusher, Dupree could be a valuable addition to any team in need of a strong defensive presence.
