Fortissimo to Launch China Sports Film ‘Wild Punch’

Chinese sports film “Wild Punch” directed by Yu Lik-wai and Wang Jing will be handled by Fortissimo Films for its international rights launch at the Cannes Market next week. Produced by Momo Pictures, a subsidiary of Zhiwen Group’s NASDAQ-listed company, this is the latest addition to their portfolio of films.

Momo Pictures has previously produced films like “The Best Is Yet to Come,” “A Long Shot,” and “The Boy who Counted Cars.” This marks the first collaboration between Momo Pictures and Fortissimo Films. In addition to “Wild Punch”, Fortissimo Films has recently announced that they will handle sales for other Chinese films including Shen Jie’s “The Umbrella Fairy”, Feng Xiaogang’s “If You Are the One 3” and Xu Haofeng’s “100 Yards”. The company also promotes cutting edge Chinese animation like Tian Xiaopeng’s “Deep Sea”.
