In the Division 2 South flag football game at the Orange Bowl in Fredonia on Wednesday, Ava Patti of Southwestern attempted to grab the flag from Ella Koopman of Fredonia. However, it was Fredonia that dominated the game, with Koopman throwing for five touchdown passes and finishing with 137 passing yards. She also ran for 47 yards and scored an additional touchdown. Francesca Pucci ran for 99 yards and scored a touchdown, while Natalia DiPalma ran for 73 yards and two touchdowns.

The Hillbillies had several players contribute to the scoring with receiving touchdowns from Makayla Tabone, Juliana Snyder, Madelyn Polhamus, Keiliany Diaz, and Ashlynn Delcamp. Juliana Snyder and Emma Patterson also added rushing touchdowns.

Defensively, Bryleigh Wicks stood out with five flag pulls, two interceptions, and a pass defended. Elizabeth Morris had two flag pulls and two sacks, while Paige Elliott had three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. Brianna Whitfield also intercepted a pass. The Hillbillies had a commanding 54-0 lead at halftime.
