Zay Jones is set to visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday as part of his free agency tour. This marks the fourth stop on his busy schedule this week, following visits to the Titans, Cardinals, and Cowboys.
At 29 years old, Jones has spent the last two seasons with the Jaguars after stints with the Raiders and Bills. Despite injuries limiting his production in 2023 to just 34 catches for 321 yards, Jones had a standout year in 2022 with 82 catches for 823 yards. He could be a valuable addition to any team’s passing game.
The Chiefs are looking to strengthen their wide receiver position following legal troubles facing last year’s top receiver, Rashee Rice. In the offseason, they signed free agent Hollywood Brown and drafted Xavier Worthy in the first round. Jones could potentially add even more depth to their receiving corps for the upcoming season.
