The Way People Utilize Their ‘Digital AI Clones’ to Participate in Zoom Meetings

In the race to achieve artificial general intelligence (AGI), tech companies are focusing on developing software that can match human intelligence. However, one AI company, Delphi, is taking a different approach by helping people create life-like digital copies of themselves that can work for them in the real world.

Using AI tools, Delphi allows users to create digital clones that can act as substitutes when it comes to tasks like attending Zoom calls. These clones not only look like the user, but they can also talk like them. According to co-founder Dara Ladjevardian, online creators, influencers, and business professionals are using Delphi to create their own clones.

Delphi creates these digital replicas by analyzing data such as podcasts, videos, and PDFs to mimic a person’s speech and thought patterns. This process can be completed in as little as an hour. By using 3D modeling and animation, Delphi is able to create a digital model of a person and replace their face or body with an image, similar to how deepfakes are made.

Customers can create their digital clones at Delphi’s ‘Clone Studio’ for a monthly fee starting at $19 and going up to $399. In addition to visual replication, users can also upload their voice data to train their clone on their speech patterns. Ladjevardian explains that the clone will learn how the user thinks and speaks, with a readiness score to show how well the clone represents the person.
