Keenan Hayes aims to retain his World Title in 2023

Keenan Hayes, a rising star in the world of bareback riding, has been making waves in the industry. In 2024, he is currently sitting at No. 3 in the PRCA World Standings with $67,645 won. Hayes is determined to defend his world championship title in 2024.

In high school, Hayes was a standout athlete competing in all three roughstock events and winning the National High School Finals Rodeo World Championship in bareback riding in 2019. He continued his success by focusing solely on bareback riding in 2021 and has been on fire this year, starting off the 2024 PRCA season strong by winning the New Year’s Eve Buck n’ Ball and placing at rodeos like Rodeo Houston, San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Most recently, he won the San Angelo title.

Hayes’ hard work and dedication have paid off as he has secured over $400,000 during his successful year in 2023. He became the first-ever Bareback Riding Rookie of the Year to also win the world title in the same year. The season is still young but Hayes is determined to continue his winning streak and secure another world title in bareback riding.
