Bailey leaves game against Phillies due to vision problems

On Friday, during the Giants’ game against the Philadelphia Phillies, catcher Patrick Bailey was forced to leave the game in the second inning due to blurry vision. Following his departure, veteran catcher Tom Murphy substituted for him. Bailey had walked and scored a run in his only plate appearance of the game before exiting. The Giants are keeping a close eye on Bailey’s condition as they await further updates on his status. It is believed that the injury occurred after Bailey was hit by a foul ball off the bat of Phillies’ Alec Bohm in the first inning.
