Global Healthcare Leaders to Discuss the Challenges of Diagnostics Access in Low- and Middle-Income Countries at 77th World Health Assembly

Experts from around the world will gather at the 77th World Health Assembly in Geneva to discuss the challenges that hinder access to diagnostics in low- and middle-income countries. These challenges include fragmented supply chains and market barriers, which are exacerbated by threats like HIV, tuberculosis, and antimicrobial resistance. One way that many countries have tried to improve healthcare delivery is through diagnostic network optimization (DNO) processes. However, much of the data collected during these processes is not fully utilized, hindering their effectiveness.
