Brooks Koepka victorious in LIV-Singapore as he prepares for PGA Championship title defense

Golf fans in Singapore were treated to a thrilling competition at the LIV Golf tournament, where Brooks Koepka emerged victorious after shooting a 3-under 68 on Sunday. This marked his fourth win on the circuit and he finished at 15-under 198 for the three rounds, two strokes ahead of Australians Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith.

Leishman concluded with a 66 and Smith shot a 64 at the Sentosa Golf Club. Koepka had four birdies and a bogey during the tournament, with Talor Gooch finishing in fourth place with a score of 67, three strokes behind Koepka.

Koepka, who has had some recent struggles with his game, expressed his gratitude for all his hard work on and off the golf course finally starting to pay off. He is now preparing to defend his title at the upcoming PGA Championship starting on May 16 at Valhalla in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jon Rahm, who is seeking his first victory since joining LIV in December, ended up six strokes behind Koepka after finishing tied for 10th place. Despite not winning, Rahm has consistently finished in the top 10 in all seven events of the year.

The team title at the tournament was won by Ripper GC, led by Leishman and Smith, finishing 32-under for the tournament. This put them three strokes ahead of Fireballs GC and Cleeks GC. The next LIV tournament is scheduled for June 7-9 in Houston, Texas, where golf fans will eagerly anticipate another thrilling competition.
