The House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology has decided to postpone its scheduled hearing with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), originally set for May 7, 2024. The purpose of the hearing was to discuss the FCC’s budget and ensure accountability on behalf of the American people.

The decision to postpone the hearing was made by the Chair of the Subcommittee. Once a new date is determined, the hearings will still be open to the public and press, and will be streamed live online at https://energycommerce.house.gov/.
