UVA Health Children’s is receiving financial support from Howard Hanna/Roy Wheeler Realty through a donation of $10,000 from the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund. Agents in Charlottesville, Zion Crossroads, and Ruckersville raised funds throughout 2023 to contribute to this cause.
Howard Hanna/Roy Wheeler Realty agents are not only providing financial support but also actively participating in community events at UVA Health Children’s. They visit the children’s hospital every winter to spread holiday cheer and help decorate for the season. UVA Health Children’s, ranked as the No. 1 children’s hospital in Virginia by U.S. News & World Report, offers primary and specialty care in over 30 specialties across the commonwealth.
UVA Health Children’s includes more than 110 beds, a pediatric emergency department, a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Battle Building houses UVA Health Children’s Ambulatory Clinics, providing integrated outpatient care to families throughout the region since its opening in 2014.
Nine specialties at UVA Health Children’s have been recognized among the best in the nation by U.S. News.
