IBM is expanding the availability of its software portfolio to 92 countries through AWS Marketplace, the digital catalog of Amazon Web Services (AWS). This move simplifies the purchasing and billing processes for customers in these countries where it was previously accessible only in Germany, France, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Additionally, customers can now use their committed AWS spending for IBM software acquisitions.
IBM’s expanded portfolio on AWS Marketplace includes 44 listings and 29 software as a service (SaaS) offerings. These offerings include technologies such as Watsonx.data and Watsonx.ai from the Watsonx platform. Other services available from IBM for these countries are Dv2 Cloud Pak for Data, Apptio, Turbonomic, Instana, and IBM Security & Sustainability, all built on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS.
To meet customer needs and demand, IBM plans to launch 15 new professional services and IBM Consulting assets on AWS Marketplace. This move aligns with the company’s goal to provide a comprehensive range of services to customers in various countries. With this expansion, IBM continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering innovative solutions that help businesses succeed in today’s digital landscape.
