Kiah Helget, a senior at New Ulm Cathedral, had an impressive performance on Monday as she hit a two-run home run against Nicollet at Harman Park, leading the Greyhounds to a 16-0 victory in just four innings. The game ended early due to the 15-run lead rule.
During a quick interview, Helget revealed some of her favorite things. Her favorite food is chicken from Raising Cane’s and her favorite movie is “The Maze Runner,” specifically the first one. When she’s not on the softball field, she enjoys reading and lifting weights.
When asked about her favorite athlete, Helget mentioned Simone Biles, admiring her skills in gymnastics. As for her favorite animal, she expressed a love for Golden Retrievers, although she has yet to convince her parents to get one for her.
