Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating witnesses to a deadly shooting outside an Inkster business.

A 35-year-old man was killed in an early morning shooting on April 19 at a strip mall on Henry Ruff Road, near Cherry Hill Road, in Inkster. The incident occurred at around 1 a.m., and investigators spent hours at the scene overnight to gather evidence.

Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot wounds. One of them succumbed to his injuries and died, while the other, a 33-year-old man, remains in critical condition at the hospital.

The case has been handed over from the Inkster Police Department to the Michigan State Police for further investigation. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, and authorities are seeking witnesses or individuals with information related to the incident.
