Attend the first-ever RAISE Health symposium on AI in health and medicine | News Center

The Stanford Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI) is hosting a symposium on May 15, which will complement the discussions and learnings from the RAISE Health symposium. The inaugural symposium of RAISE Health, co-hosted by Stanford Medicine and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), is scheduled for May 14. This event aims to explore AI’s future in biomedicine and address critical issues related to the responsible development and use of the technology.

Opening remarks will be delivered by HAI co-director Fei-Fei Li, PhD, and Lloyd Minor, MD, dean of the Stanford School of Medicine. The symposium aims to bring together experts from various sectors to define a path for AI in biomedicine and ensure its societal benefit. Interested individuals can register to secure their spot for the symposium, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pacific time. For more information and registration, visit https://raisehealthsymposium.sites.stanford.edu/.

The event will be accessible to the public through an online livestream, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who may not be able to attend in person but still want to learn about AI’s potential impact on biomedicine.
