Jenna Ortega’s departure from ‘Jurassic World: Chaos Theory’ confirmed in trailer

Netflix has released the official trailer for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, an animated sequel series to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. The new series explores a new era of chaos after the park has closed and the kingdom has fallen.

One notable absence from the voice cast is Jenna Ortega, who portrayed Brooklynn in Camp Cretaceous and will not be returning for Chaos Theory. The teaser trailer and first-look images were revealed during Netflix Geeked Week.

In the original Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, dinosaur enthusiast Darius Bowman visits Camp Cretaceous, only for the dinosaurs to escape and wreak havoc, as seen in previous Jurassic movies. This time around, we see Brooklynn apparently being killed in a dinosaur attack, leading the other members of the Nublar Six to be in danger.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is scheduled to premiere in 2024. The series is developed by DreamWorks Animation Television and Amblin Entertainment, with Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley serving as executive producers and showrunners. Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall are also on board as executive producers. DreamWorks Animation handles the animation, while Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment produce the series.

Netflix’s latest release promises to deliver thrilling action sequences and stunning visual effects that will transport viewers back to prehistoric times once again. With a talented cast of voice actors and a gripping storyline that keeps audiences on their toes, there’s no doubt that Jurassic World: Chaos Theory will be a must-watch for fans of the franchise.

The series follows a group of teenagers who find themselves trapped on Isla Nublar after it reopens years after its closure following a catastrophic event known as “The Great Extinction.” As they navigate through this new era of chaos, they must confront their own fears and work together to survive against all odds.

With its thrilling action sequences and stunning visual effects, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans of the franchise. So mark your calendars for 2024 when this highly anticipated animated series premieres on Netflix!
