Legacy Health CEO Kathryn Correia Announces Retirement as OHSU Acquisition Is Imminent

Legacy Health’s chief financial officer, Anna Loomis, is stepping down from her position, as announced in an email sent to staff by Charles Wilhoite, chair of Legacy’s board of directors. In her email, Loomis explained that she was retiring due to health reasons following an injury sustained in a fall last November.

Kathryn Correia, who has been the CEO of Legacy Health since June 2018, is also leaving her position as part of a change in leadership. Dr. George Brown, who previously served as Legacy’s CEO from 2008 to 2018, will be returning to the role.

In a statement released by Legacy, it was announced that Correia will continue in an advisory role until June. She thanked her colleagues for their support and dedication throughout her time at Legacy and acknowledged the impact that the accumulated stress of the past four years had on her resiliency.

“It has been an honor to serve as the CEO of Legacy Health,” said Correia in her statement. “While I am saddened to leave my position, I am confident that with Dr. Brown’s leadership and our strong team in place, we will continue to thrive and achieve our objectives.”
