The Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul Fight Officially Sanctioned by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations

The highly anticipated boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, set for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, has been officially sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. This was announced by Most Valuable Promotions, which is co-promoting the event with Triller.

In addition to the Tyson-Paul fight, there will be a co-featured bout between unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano and super lightweight champion Katie Taylor. This will mark the first time women’s main event will take place at Madison Square Garden. Both fights will be streaming live on Netflix.

Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian expressed her gratitude for meeting the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations to sanction the Tyson-Paul fight. Tyson, now 57, was the youngest heavyweight titleholder in history and held the WBC, WBA, and IBF titles simultaneously. His opponent, Paul, gained fame on YouTube before transitioning to professional boxing in 2020. He also made it to Forbes’s list of highest-paid athletes for his boxing matches, with estimated earnings of $38 million. He has a large following on social media platforms like Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
