Mitiga, an Israeli cyber start-up, advances to finals of Sandbox innovation competition

Mitiga has been revolutionizing the way organizations protect their cloud environments and SaaS applications. The company offers advanced features in visibility, threat detection, investigation, and response to attacks in the cloud era. Mitiga’s goal is to enhance organizations’ Cyber Command (SOC) capabilities by reducing the time it takes to identify, investigate, and respond to cloud threats from over 200 days to just a few hours.

The founders of Mitiga have extensive experience in the cyber industry, having co-founded successful companies like Seeker Security and Hacktics. Tal Mozes leads the company as CEO, with Ofer Maor and Ariel Farnes bringing over 20 years of experience in intelligence, IT, offensive and defensive cyber roles, and network warfare from their time in 8200.

Mitiga has raised $45 million in funding since its inception, with $38 million coming from its Series A round led by ClearSky. Other investors include Glilot Capital Partners, Samsung Next, Blackstone, Atlantic Bridge, and DNX. Cisco’s investment arm has also provided significant support for product innovation, customer expansion, platform development, and employee growth.
