She notes that Texas ranks last in all states for access to mental health care, highlighting the need for more work to be done in this area.

As part of their efforts to raise awareness about mental health, the Momentous Institute is hosting a free event on April 30th at 5:30 pm at Collin College Frisco Campus. Attendees will have the chance to win tickets to the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, where players will be wearing green ribbons for mental health awareness instead of their names. Instead of their names, players and caddies will have information on how they cultivate their mental health on their bibs. This event aims to shed light on some of the root causes of the mental health crisis and encourage attendees to take action towards bettering their own mental well-being.
