In the Jerez Sprint Race, several MotoGP riders received post-race penalties for low tire pressure. These included Fabio Quartararo, Raul Fernandez, Fabio di Giannantonio, Jack Miller, and Alex Rins. As a result, the updated 2024 MotoGP World Championship standings have seen some significant changes.
Jorge Martin continues to lead the championship with 92 points, followed closely by Pedro Acosta in second with 63 points. Enea Bastianini has dropped to third with 59 points, while Maverick Viñales and Francesco Bagnaia round out the top five with 56 and 50 points respectively.
