Muller Technology, a leading provider of factory automation solutions, is set to showcase custom mobile robotic systems at NPE2024 in Orlando, FL from May 6 to 10. The company’s new Mobile Manipulators (MoMas) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are designed to revolutionize traditional downstream automation by providing continuous operation around the clock while reducing OSHA recordable events.
The MoMa represents a unique combination of an AMR and a cobot, equipped with a vision-based end-of-arm tool. These versatile robots are capable of performing a wide range of tasks in cleanrooms for microprocessor production, including picking up items from shelves, assembling components, placing delicate objects, and carrying empty or full boxes or pallets. They can also execute repetitive assembly processes and transport goods to warehouses or trucks with ease.
Muller has partnered with Omron to provide comprehensive automation solutions for plastics processors. As an Omron Certified Systems Integrator, Muller integrates AMRs and MoMas into turnkey automation operations at its facilities in Colorado and Switzerland. This collaboration has resulted in improved plant efficiency and cost reduction, as demonstrated by a recent project involving AMRs that led to the promotion of 23 employees to higher-level roles within their operation.
Carsten Eisenkrämer, Group CEO of Muller Technology, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and providing advanced solutions that address the challenges faced by the manufacturing industry. With their latest product line and service offerings, Muller aims to empower plastics manufacturers to achieve higher levels of efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
