Weekend Schedule for NASCAR Xfinity and Cup races at Richmond Raceway

On Friday, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour teams will kick off the weekend at Richmond Raceway with a full day of activities. The Modified Tour will practice and qualify on Friday before racing for 150 laps, covering 112.5 miles. Meanwhile, the Xfinity Series will also be in action on Saturday at Richmond, where they will continue their season with practice, qualifying, and a race featuring 250 laps totaling 187.5 miles.

The Cup Series will also be in action on Sunday at Richmond, where they will practice and qualify on Saturday in preparation for a primetime race that will consist of 400 laps totaling 300 miles. The weather forecast for the weekend looks promising with mostly sunny skies and a high of 67 degrees on Friday, a cloudy day with a high of 71 degrees on Saturday, and a high of 70 degrees on Sunday with a 33% chance of rain at the start of the Cup race.

Trackhouse Racing drivers Daniel Suarez and Ross Chastain are looking to secure their second win of the season at Richmond. Last season, Chandler Smith won the Xfinity race at Richmond while Kyle Larson won the spring Cup race.
