Business Update for Clark County, April 20, 2024

Vancouver-based organization PeaceHealth has recently appointed three new members to its Board of Directors, including Carol Aaron as the new chair. Aaron, who joined the board in January 2021, succeeds Karl Carrier who stepped down after serving more than eight years. With a background of over 30 years in the healthcare industry, Aaron held executive positions at PeaceHealth, St. Joseph Health System, and Sutter Health before retiring in 2019.

In addition to Aaron’s appointment, Dr. Ione Adams and Lorraine Arvin have also been elected to serve on the board. Adams has been chairing the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Community Health Board in Bellingham since 2020 and retired from practicing family medicine after a long and distinguished career. Arvin is a seasoned chief financial officer with expertise in financial strategies and long-term financial planning. She most recently served as the vice president and treasurer at Reed College before retiring in 2021.

These new appointments bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the PeaceHealth Board of Directors, further strengthening the organization’s leadership team as they continue their mission of providing quality healthcare services to the community.
