Inspire Brands, an Atlanta-based restaurant holding company, announced the appointment of Yasir Anwar as its chief technology officer on Tuesday. Anwar has extensive experience in building and managing agile technology teams, having previously held leadership positions at Walmart, Wells Fargo, Macy’s, and Williams-Sonoma.
As CTO of Inspire Brands, Anwar will oversee several teams, including product engineering, data engineering, technology operations, architecture, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and infrastructure and development operations. His primary focus will be to develop shared technology capabilities for the company’s renowned brands.
Paul Brown, co-founder and CEO of Inspire Brands expressed his excitement about Anwar’s appointment. In a statement announcing the new hire, he emphasized the company’s commitment to developing advanced technology solutions that can support its iconic brands.
Anwar is thrilled to join Inspire Brands and work with some of the most recognized brands in the industry. He officially joined the company on May 6th and reports directly to Paul Brown as well as serving on the management committee.
