Be cautious, dear readers! If you don’t want to be spoiled on the plot of Captain America: Brave New World, avoid looking at the new McDonald’s promotional ad for the movie. The ad offers a sneak peek at Danny Ramirez as the Falcon.
Ramirez first appeared as Joaquín Torres in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series on Disney+. However, he will take on the role of Falcon in the upcoming Captain America film after Sam Wilson passes him his damaged wings in the show’s second-to-last episode. In a photo shared by a Twitter user, Ramirez is seen dressed in a green suit, helmet, and mechanical wings to match the comic book version of the character.
A McDonald’s toy ad from Brazil also features Ramirez as the MCU’s new Falcon. It includes minifigures of various characters, including two versions of Captain America and Red Hulk, hinting at a transformation for Thaddeus Ross. Marvel Studios shared the first footage of Captain America: Brave New World at CinemaCon 2024, but details about the plot are still largely unknown. The movie will see Falcon and the Star-Spangled Avenger facing off against Red Hulk.
Captain America: Brave New World is set to release in theaters on February 14, 2025, as part of the upcoming wave of MCU films following Deadpool & Wolverine. Adele Ankers-Range is a freelance entertainment writer for IGN and can be followed on Twitter @AdeleAnkers.
