Biden Sends Weapons to Ukraine, Secret Missiles Manifest for Kiev

The United States is sending arms to Ukraine as President Biden announced yesterday after signing a $95 billion law for aid and weapons for the country, Israel, and Taiwan. The Senate approved the package with bipartisan support, giving the green light for the aid. Politico reported earlier that the US had already sent long-range missiles to Ukraine, which was later confirmed by White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Sullivan said that President Biden had directed his team to provide Ukraine with a significant number of ATACMS missiles for use within their territory. These missiles, with a range of approximately 260 kilometers, have already been used twice by Kiev. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had been requesting the missiles, and now the US is ready to provide the necessary aid to support Ukraine in their fight against Russian aggression.

President Biden emphasized the importance of moving quickly to send the necessary ammunition for air defense, artillery, missile systems, and armored vehicles to Ukraine. He stressed that this aid package is not just an investment in Ukraine’s security but also in Europe’s security and that of the United States. Despite delays and obstacles in getting funding approved, President Biden highlighted the importance of supporting Ukraine against Russian aggression.

Biden also warned Putin about potential consequences if he were to attack a NATO ally. If such an attack were made, he said that Russia would face significant consequences from both NATO and other international allies. Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed his gratitude for the US military aid package and emphasized that fully implementing agreements reached between him and Biden will be crucial in ensuring peace in Eastern Europe.

In conclusion, this aid package is vital in supporting Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression. The US and Ukraine are working together closely to ensure that these supplies reach their destination promptly and effectively so that they can assist Ukraine in their fight for sovereignty.
