CEO Scott Rathgaber explained that Emplify combines “empathy” and “amplify” to symbolize the organization’s commitment to enhancing care and the patient experience. By uniting under this new brand, the health systems aim to align their teams and resources to provide the best possible care for their patients and communities.
The transition to Emplify Health will be gradual and thoughtful, with a timeline spanning several months. Rathgaber emphasized that while change may take time, the organization’s legacy names will be honored as they move towards the future. Patients can expect to continue receiving care from the same providers and staff at current locations.
Subsidiary organizations like the Bellin Health Foundation and the Gundersen Medical Foundation will retain their names at this time. Emplify Health represents a promise, a symbol of trust, and a continuation of the legacy created by Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System. Embracing this new identity prepares the organization for the future while honoring the past.
