Greenfield Recorder – Business Updates: April 5, 2024

The Franklin Community Co-op has welcomed Caitlin von Schmidt as its new outreach and communications manager. Von Schmidt began working with the co-op on March 19, and General Manager John Williams expressed his excitement about having her on board. Williams cited her previous experience in the Greenfield Business Association and Mayor’s Office as assets that will help her succeed in her new role.

Meanwhile, the MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center is hosting a Multi-Industry Job Fair at Greenfield Community College’s Dining Commons on Thursday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will prioritize RESEA Program customers at 11 a.m., followed by all other job seekers at 11:30. Advance registration is not required to attend. Several employers will be present at the job fair, including Berkshire East/Zoar Outdoor, Community Action Pioneer Valley, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
